Sybase EDI Server
Sybase EDI Server is one component of a line of integration products that replaces "inter-application
spaghetti" with a "hub and spoke" architecture. Sybase EDI Server
includes a suite of powerful components that meet the needs of any organization
processing EDI: the ECMap Development Workbench, ECRTP runtime environment
with Trading Partner management capabilities, and EC Gateway to support message
management, VAN connectivity, and operations management.
Sybase EDI Server expands upon the functionality offered
by the Sybase Adapter for EDI. It supports all the features
of the adapter (supports EDI mapping to/from NDO, sequential,
and delimited file structures), as well as supporting EDI
mapping to and from XML, HTML, and databases via ODBC connectivity.
EDI Server can be implemented as a high-value adapter with
an enterprise application integration (EAI) server or as
a standalone e-Commerce processing solution.
Sybase Adapter for EDI
This product includes three components that work together to meet the needs
of any organization processing EDI: ECMap Development Workbench; ECRTP Execution
Engine; and EC Gateway Server . ECMap provides management of trading partners,
business rules, versioning, data transformation, and their relationships
and dependencies. Sybase Adapters for EDI´s execution engine, ECRTP, supports
batch, fast batch, and real-time data format integration. EC Gateway Server
provides facilities for job control production scripting and event driven
scheduling, permitting lights out operations.
